Helix, with its unique twist, is unlike any reinforcement and a substantial improvement over fibers, rebar or mesh. Helix distributes steel more equally across the entire section making it far more efficient. That same distribution of loads is precisely why you spread out multiple pieces of rebar instead of using just one thick piece. Helix just does it better.

Helix works together with concrete to:

• Increase peak strength – the amount of force it takes to form
  a crack (rebar and mesh do not)
• Increase structural capacity – the amount of load the concrete will hold after a crack is formed
• Hold (micro) cracks together more tightly
• Work in all three dimensions and throughout the entire
  section of concrete
• Provide excellent shear resistance
